Freecology is the latest service offered by Naturally Wild Consultants. Introduced in Spring 2011 the service intends to assist clients by providing a free overview assessment and report for their development project with regards to ecological issues. This will permit recommendations to further financial and timesavings to the client and to positively ensure development projects are on time, on budget and inline with all current legislation.

Free-cology involves a full desktop assessment of all completed ecological survey, liaisons with relevant parties and proposed development time frames. Following our assessment, we will document and deliver a series of recommendations to advise the client where financial and timesavings are achievable.

The service has already seen success on a major development in the north east of England. The development was about to lose critical funding and ultimately lose much valued investment and locally important new jobs unless a solution could be made and agreed with all relevant parties.
Naturally Wild worked with the developer to implement a new approach to the ecological constraints on time allowing the project to gain full planning consent and for work to commence the resulting development is currently on track for completion on time.
